Among these, the ‘Madonie Stazionario‘ itinerary covers a series of villages in the Madonie Mountains over several days, from Castellana Sicula to Castelbuono to Petralia Soprana, so you can admire and visit even the most in-depth villages.
The Terravecchia agriturismo in Castellana Sicula will welcome you with one of our guides, and then we will begin a briefing where you will be introduced to the horses and given simple advice on how best to approach them. For a shorter itinerary, we propose instead “Madonie Short“: the first stop is at the reception facility in Lascari, where you will be able to taste km0 products. On the following days, after the briefing introducing the horses and the experience, a relaxing excursion will follow, taking you towards Gratteri and Collesano on a route that passes through oaks and holm oaks.
Each itinerary is characterised by routes that avoid tourist spots, in order to maintain contact with the island’s nature and make this experience unforgettable. We offer different breeds of horses, from native Sicilian horses with a strong personality but a calm nature, to reliable and confident Arabians and Connemara thoroughbreds.
